Are you feeling stuck or out of control?

Have you finally gotten fed up with trying so hard but not reaching your goals, or maybe you realized that you’re not the person you used to be? You may be struggling to complete daily activities, or have simply lost your passion for things you used to love. Perhaps you’re feeling lost and fearful of the future.

Whatever it is that you’re feeling, it’s starting to impact all areas of your life

  • Constantly rushing from one thing to the next, but lacking intention & direction
  • Using coping skills to get by, but you’re looking for the root of your problems
  • Wondering how to get past this insecurity and doubt, and truly feel peace

Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) can help.

It may feel impossible now, but you can have peace. You can have independence. You can have freedom. And I can help get you there.

EMDR helps you do 3 things

  • Work through the root problem or trauma that is causing these issues
  • Understand your motivations and behaviors, as well as how it impacts those around you
  • Learn the skills to help resolve problems, so you can move forward in health and bravery

I’ll help you through this process, tailoring each step to your unique needs and circumstances. My approach to EMDR comes from a place of acceptance: knowing that you aren’t the “problem”, but that it’s simply the cycle you’re in that needs fixing. I help clients reprocess their thoughts and priorities to better set goals and boundaries, through a reflective and guided listening process to equip you to connect the dots and feel like yourself again.

Insecurity & doubt don’t have to be your story.

Frequently Asked Questions About EMDR Therapy

What are EMDR sessions like?

EMDR uses bilateral stimulation to enable the brain to reprocess trauma or distressing memories. We will spend our first few sessions gathering history and building your toolbox before starting the bilateral stimulation. Then we will spend about 60-90 minutes of weekly sessions working with bilateral stimulation on distressing memories, until you feel at peace with them!

How long do I need to be in therapy?

That depends on you! EMDR is known for being a more intense, but not as long term treatment method compared to traditional talk therapy. With that being said, the more that you put into it then the more you’ll get out of it!

What is the price of EMDR sessions?

Each session is $120 for a 60 minute session, and I can provide a Superbill for insurance reimbursement of your plan allows for it. I also have Sliding Fee Scale spots available to ensure that cost is not a deterrent of getting therapy!
